Wiring outdoor lighting is a weekend project. These solar ground lights are a ten-minute one. Push the spike into the soil, switch to ON, and they charge all day and light up automatically at night — no wiring, no electrician, no ongoing cost. Available in Warm White and Cold White, in packs of 4, 8, or 12 to light an entire pathway, driveway edge, or garden border in one order.
Why These Ground Lights Stand Out
✓ Weather-resistant disc body — the sealed ABS housing handles rain, sprinklers and Australian summer storms. The battery compartment is user-accessible, so treat it as weather-resistant rather than permanently sealed ✓ Automatic dusk-to-dawn operation — the intelligent light sensor activates the LED ring automatically at dusk and switches off at dawn. No manual switching required after initial setup ✓ 14-LED ring illumination — 14 × 2835 LED beads arranged in a ring around the solar panel produce an even, circular glow that illuminates the ground around each light ✓ Runs on the day's sunlight — the 300mAh nickel-hydrogen battery stores what the panel collects, so a long sunny day gives you a long evening and an overcast one gives you less ✓ Low-profile disc design — the flat round body sits close to the ground, making it visible as a light source without protruding above path surfaces or garden borders ✓ Two light colour options — Warm White for a cosy amber tone and Cold White for a crisp daylight tone — select the atmosphere that suits your outdoor space ✓ Three pack sizes — 4-pack for a small path or accent border, 8-pack for a medium driveway or garden walkway, 12-pack for a full pathway or large garden layout ✓ No wiring or electricity required — fully solar powered, zero running cost after installation
Where to Use Them
→ Garden pathway — space evenly along both sides of a garden path for a lantern-lit walkway effect at night → Driveway edge — line along a driveway border to mark the edge and provide low ambient lighting → Lawn or flower bed border — place around the perimeter of a garden bed for decorative border lighting → Steps and deck edges — position at step edges or deck borders for low-level ambient lighting → Gravel or rock garden — the disc design sits naturally among gravel and stone without looking out of place → Front yard — space along a front path from gate to door for a welcoming entrance at night
How It Works
1. Solar charging — the polycrystalline silicon solar panel on the top surface absorbs sunlight during daylight hours and charges the 300mAh battery. A full charge takes 6+ hours of direct sunlight 2. Automatic activation — the integrated light sensor detects when ambient light drops at dusk and automatically switches on the LED ring, illuminating the surrounding ground area 3. Adaptive brightness — when the battery is fully charged the light operates at full brightness. As the battery level decreases through the night, the light gradually dims to extend runtime through to dawn

How to Install
1. Push the switch on the underside of each light to the ON position before inserting the ground spike 2. Insert the two ground spikes into the round holes on the underside of the light body 3. Push the assembled light firmly into the soil at your chosen location 4. Position in an area that receives direct sunlight on the top solar panel during the day 5. The light will activate automatically at dusk on the first night — allow a full day of charging before first use for maximum runtime Tip: For a pathway, space lights approximately 24–36 in (60–90 cm) apart on alternating sides of the path for an even, welcoming look
Care and Maintenance
✓ Wipe the solar panel surface periodically with a soft damp cloth to remove dust and debris that reduces charging efficiency ✓ Clean the ABS body with a damp cloth — it handles rain and outdoor moisture without issue ✓ If runtime decreases noticeably over time, the battery may need replacement — a standard 1.2V AA nickel-hydrogen rechargeable battery ✓ During extended winter storage, switch each light OFF to preserve battery health

Frequently Asked Questions
Do these lights need any wiring?
No. They are fully solar powered. Switch each light to ON, fit the two ground spikes, and push it into the soil where the top panel gets direct sunlight.
How long do they stay on at night?
Up to 8 hours per full charge. A full charge takes 6 or more hours of direct sunlight. The lights run at full brightness when fully charged and gradually dim as the battery runs down through the night.
What is the difference between Warm White and Cold White?
Warm White gives a cosy amber tone. Cold White gives a crisp daylight tone. Both colours are available in packs of 4, 8 or 12.
Are they waterproof?
Yes. They are IP68 rated and sealed against rain and outdoor moisture, so they are designed for permanent outdoor placement.
How big is each light and how far apart should I space them?
Each light is 124 mm in diameter and 145 mm tall including the spike, with a low disc shape that sits close to the ground. For a pathway, space them about 60–90 cm apart on alternating sides.
Can the battery be replaced?
Yes. Each light uses a standard 1.2V AA 300mAh nickel-hydrogen rechargeable battery. If runtime drops noticeably over time, the battery may need replacing. Wiping the solar panel with a soft damp cloth also helps keep charging efficient.
