Nobody puts proper shoes on to duck out and pick a lemon. So you go out in whatever is by the door and come back with wet grass and mud on the good pair. These live at the back step instead: step in, do the job, kick them off, hose them when they get bad. One moulded piece of EVA, so nothing soaks up water or holds a smell.

Why They Stand Out
  • A moulded EVA upper that sheds water and mud — no fabric, no stitching, no lining. Wet grass at seven in the morning, a leaking hose fitting, a muddy bed after rain: it runs off the outside instead of soaking in.
  • They hose off — that is the whole point of a garden clog. Run the hose over them, stand them up, done. No brushing dried mud out of a tread pattern in the laundry.
  • Slip on shoes with no hands — no laces, no buckle, no bending down. You can get into them holding a cup of tea and a pair of secateurs.
  • Light enough not to notice — EVA weighs almost nothing, which is why people end up wearing them for hours instead of just for the quick trip out.
  • Non slip shoes where it counts — grip on wet pavers, wet decking and a hosed concrete path, which is where people actually go over.
  • Cushioned all the way through — the same EVA is insole and outsole, so the potting bench does not punish your heels.
  • Red, blue or black — so the pair by the door is obviously yours.

Where to Wear Them
  • The back step pair — the job they do best. Watering, checking the veggie patch, putting the bins out, feeding the chooks.
  • Watering and hosing — where leather boots get ruined and thongs get slippery.
  • The potting bench and the shed — standing on concrete, spilling potting mix, hosing the lot down after.
  • Mud and wet beds — lighter than garden boots and easier to kick off at the door, so nothing comes inside with you.
  • Around the pool and the outdoor shower — they are water shoes as much as garden shoes.
  • The beach and the boat — sand rinses straight out of them.
  • Long standing jobs indoors — plenty of people who buy these for the garden end up wearing them as work clogs in the kitchen.

Getting the Size Right

1. Measure your foot, do not guess — stand on paper with your heel to a wall and mark the longest toe.
2. Match the centimetres to the table — 22.5 cm is a 35, 24 cm a 38, 25 cm a 40, 26.3 cm a 42, 27.6 cm a 44, 28.9 cm a 46, 30.3 cm a 48.
3. Ignore insole and outsole numbers — those are the shoe, not your foot, and reading them as a size is the single biggest cause of returns on moulded footwear.
Tip: these run to the listed size rather than small, so measure once and order that. Buying a size down "because clogs are roomy" is how you end up with a pair that rubs across the top of the foot.

Care and Maintenance
  • Hose them, do not scrub them — EVA scuffs if you take a wire brush to it.
  • Dry them in shade — left in full Australian sun day after day, EVA hardens and shrinks slightly.
  • Do not leave them in a hot car, which will warp them out of shape.
  • Rinse the salt off after the beach.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the right size?
Measure your foot in centimetres. Stand on paper with your heel to a wall and mark the longest toe, then match the length to the guide: 22.5 cm is a 35, 24 cm a 38, 25 cm a 40, 26.3 cm a 42, 27.6 cm a 44, 28.9 cm a 46 and 30.3 cm a 48. If you are between sizes, go up, as EVA does not stretch.
Do they run small or large?
They run to the listed size, not small. Measure once and order that size. Sizing down can leave you with a pair that rubs across the top of the foot.
Are they really waterproof?
Yes. Each clog is one moulded piece of EVA with no fabric, stitching or lining, so there is nothing to soak up water or hold a smell.
Can I use them as safety shoes?
No. These are garden clogs, not safety footwear. They have no steel cap, no puncture-resistant midsole and no AS/NZS 2210 certification. They suit the garden, shed and path, not a worksite. The flat sole also has less grip than a lugged boot on a wet slope or loose gravel.
How do I clean and care for them?
Hose them off and stand them up to dry in the shade. Do not scrub them with a wire brush, leave them in full sun day after day, or leave them in a hot car, as heat can harden, shrink or warp EVA. Rinse off salt after the beach.
What colours and sizes are available?
They come in Red, Blue or Black, in unisex sizes 35 to 48. You receive 1 pair in the colour and size you select.
