Add a lighter, cleaner shade feature to patios, courtyards and garden structures with white camouflage netting designed for flexible outdoor use. The open leaf-cut pattern softens direct sunlight and creates partial visual screening without the heavy appearance of a solid roof or rigid privacy panel. Its white finish works especially well around light-coloured pergolas, rendered walls, pale fencing, poolside structures and contemporary garden furniture, making it a useful option where green or desert camouflage would feel too visually dominant.

Why It Stands Out

✓ Light neutral finish — the white colour suits bright patios, courtyards, pergolas and modern garden spaces where darker camouflage can look too heavy.

✓ Open leaf-cut shade — the irregular camouflage pattern interrupts direct sunlight while keeping the area visually open.

✓ Partial privacy screening — hung vertically, the overlapping cut-outs help soften direct sightlines around outdoor seating and garden boundaries.

✓ Flexible installation — suitable for pergola roofs, gazebo frames, patio structures, garden dividers and temporary shade areas.

✓ Can be cut to fit — the netting can be trimmed when a smaller or custom-shaped section is required.

✓ Can be joined for larger areas — multiple pieces can be aligned and connected with cable ties to extend coverage.

Where to Use It

The white version is particularly suited to patios, light-coloured pergolas, courtyards, gazebos, poolside garden structures and outdoor dining areas where you want shade without introducing a strong dark pattern. It can also be used vertically along a suitable frame to create decorative screening around garden storage areas, seating zones or sections of the yard. Because the design is open rather than solid, it works best where you want a combination of shade, airflow and visual separation rather than a complete wall or fully enclosed roof.

How the Shade Effect Works

The netting is formed from irregular camouflage-style cut-outs rather than one continuous sheet. When stretched across a structure, the overlapping pieces break up direct sunlight and create a dappled shade pattern below. The gaps between the cut-outs allow air to move through the installation, helping the space retain an open outdoor feel. The amount of shade changes with the installation angle, how tightly the net is stretched and whether sections overlap.

Comparison Table

How to Choose a Size and Install

Choosing the right size: 2 × 2 m and 2 × 3 m suit compact patio sections, small courtyard corners and partial pergola coverage. 2 × 4 m and 3 × 3 m work well over medium garden seating areas. 3 × 4 m, 3 × 5 m and 3 × 6 m suit standard pergolas, longer patios and outdoor dining zones. 4 × 4 m, 4 × 5 m, 4 × 6 m and 5 × 6 m are better for larger gazebos, pergolas and broad backyard structures. Measure the fixing area before ordering and allow enough material to reach the attachment points.

Option 1 — Suspended Between Anchor Points: Position the netting between suitable posts, trees, pergola supports or other stable anchor points. Secure the corners gradually and keep the tension moderate rather than stretching the net tightly like a structural shade sail. Adjust each corner progressively so the net sits evenly without excessive strain.

Option 2 — Fixed to a Pergola or Garden Frame with Cable Ties: Lay the netting evenly across the pergola, gazebo, patio frame or other structure. Secure the corners first, then pass cable ties through the existing openings in the netting and around the supporting beams. Add ties at regular intervals along the edges to distribute the load and help reduce movement or sagging.

Joining Two Pieces for Larger Areas: Place the two netting sections side by side with a small overlap. Pass cable ties through openings in both pieces, tighten them, and repeat along the seam until the sections form one larger panel.

Care & Maintenance

Check the net and attachment points after windy weather and retighten loose fixings when needed. Remove leaves, dust and other garden debris carefully from the cut-out sections rather than pulling hard on the material. When taking the net down, release the ties first and allow the netting to dry before folding it for storage.
